Student Alliance is recognized by the college and Board of Trustees as the representative governing body for undergraduate students at Rhode Island School of Design.

Student Alliance is the governing body for the Student Association. Every undergraduate student at Rhode Island School of Design has the right to cast votes on decisions, and may attend meetings and participate actively. Every academic department including the Division of Liberal Arts and Foundation Studies maintains elected representatives. Meetings are held every month during the academic year beginning at 5pm in Memorial Hall’s Tap Room.
